Block 19 is located in the deep-water offshore Kwanza Basin, south of Ambriz arch, some 100 km northwest of Luanda. The water depth in the block is 200 to 1,500 meters.The block is positioned on the inner slope of the basin at boundary of the Lower Congo and Kwanza basins.
In summary, several key leads are recognized in Albian Mucanzo sands, Albian carbonate shoals and Presalt Cuvo sands with potential large entrapped hydrocarbon volumes.
